Coherent Appoints Dhileep Paski as General Manager of Asia Pacific

Former Deloitte Head of AI Engineering and veteran platform builder to lead Coherent in Asia Pacific

HONG KONG, 30 September 2026 — Coherent, the operating system for enterprise Excel, has appointed Dhileep Paski, formerly a Partner and Head of AI Engineering at Deloitte in Hong Kong, as General Manager of Asia Pacific. He will lead customer engagement, partner development, and regional strategy, with a focus on life and annuity carriers and the actuarial and product development work where Coherent is seeing the strongest demand.

Coherent was founded in Hong Kong in 2018 and has built carrier and partner relationships across more than a dozen markets in the region over the past eight years. As financial institutions turn to AI to accelerate actuarial modeling, product development, and pricing, the spreadsheet-based business logic at the heart of those processes only becomes more important.

"AI does not run on ambition. It runs on business logic that already works," said John Brisco, CEO of Coherent. "Dhileep knows the present dynamics in APAC, but beyond that he knows how that logic is wired inside the systems these firms depend on. That is going to matter as AI moves from the conversation into the calculation."

At Deloitte, Paski led Cloud Engineering and AI Transformation initiatives for regulated clients across service lines in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) throughout the region. He spent the prior 16 years at Industrie&Co, which he joined as a founding member in Sydney and helped build across Hong Kong and Singapore before Accenture acquired it. His engineering background includes risk-calculation and trading platforms for banks, insurers, and exchanges, and he is a CFA charterholder.

"Carriers in this region are under pressure on expense ratios, and they are now looking at AI to change how they build and price products," said Paski. "Every one I have sat down with has an AI strategy, and almost none of them have solved the problem underneath it. Coherent got the foundation right first. Now it is building on top of that in ways no one else can follow."

Paski is based in Hong Kong, working across Coherent's teams in Singapore, India, and Australia. He is the second regional leader the company has named this year, following Harsil Patel's appointment as Chief Growth Officer and General Manager of EMEA in August.
